PTA Colour Run - Information for Runners

Get ready for some Colour Run Fun!

The run is designed to be a simple run and obstacle course around the school field for all ages and abilities. *Please note it is NOT a race.* Runners are not timed and all runners will receive a finishing medal.

Essential Information - please read

What to bring and wear:-

  • Sunglasses or goggles to protect eyes from the powder (highly recommended)

  • Old clothes that you don’t mind getting messy and preferably a light-coloured T-Shirt to show the paint powder (highly recommended)

  • Closed toe footwear suitable for running and simple obstacles (compulsory)

  • Face mask for those with medical conditions such as asthma (optional as an extra precaution)

Run Start Times are:

  • 11:40

  • 12.30

  • 13:20

  • 14.10

  • 15.00

Check your tickets to see which session you're booked on.

Check-in is 20 minutes prior to the run time at the check in station on the field

Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to ensure you can join the run, as latecomers will have to wait to be accommodated on another session with space if they miss the briefing. Please factor in time for a lot of road works in Buckhurst Hill at the moment.

Booking Confirmation

All runners need to have purchased a ticket including parents or carers wishing to take part with their children. We will have a printed list of runners to check in. Only runners with a wristband for the designated run will be allowed into the course area. There is a large spectator line in front of the run, and there will be a finishing area for photos outside the course area.

Runners with Asthma may wish to take a preventative pump in the morning as a precaution of being around powder paint and are welcome to leave a pump with the race organisers on the course. They may also wish to abstain from the final colour cloud after the finish line. We have a first aid team on site.

Additional information

There is a full fun day with free entry taking place alongside the run with paid rides, stalls, food and drink, music and some free craft activities and games, so feel free to bring non-running family and friends.
