Dear All,

Well, what a year it has been! The children have all coped so well and can be really proud of themselves and their progress. A big thank you to all of you too. Your kindness, generosity and constant support are so much appreciated and have made a challenging year much more manageable.

I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching your children this year, and have many wonderful memories of our times together. Below, you will soon find a slideshow of some of these memories, plus some clips from our Talent Show!

Below, you will find details of the school summer project. It is completely optional, so please don't feel any pressure.

It has been such a privilege, teaching your children this year and getting to know you all. Very best wishes for next academic year and ...

Year 3 info:

The Year 3 teachers are Ms. Gove and Mrs Burrows. Mrs Conway also supports Year 3. Also helping us this year are: Coach Anthony, Mrs Smith, Mr Cameron and Mr. Flynn.

Our English text for this term is the brilliant How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell.  We are enjoying lots of interesting activities as we explore this entertaining text.

Just a reminder that our PE days are Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons. Children should now come in their PE kits on those days, please. We also run the 'Daily Mile', so school shoes need to be suitable for this, please.

Homework will be set each week on a Thursday, to be given in the following Tuesday. This consists of a piece of English homework (which you will usually  find on Google Classroom), spellings and Maths. We will always aim to have a spelling test on Tuesdays.

Hoping you are all keeping well.

With kind wishes,

Miss Gove

A few weeks ago, we had a visiting PE teacher who taught us how to run relay races like professional athletes. It was really challenging but we learned loads!
